Job Title: Traffic/I.T. Referral Source(s) of Hire: Employee Referral/Former Employee
Due to the unique combination of skills and experience offered by a former station employment unit employee, the station employment unit hired that former employee who was referred by a current employee. The former employee was hired because he was not only already familiar with the station employment unit's IT infrastructure but also because he had considerable experience performing on-air and working in production, in the business office, and in the traffic department. The station employment unit needed a candidate with a unique combination of skills and experience in both the broadcasting industry and in the IT field, who would have a primary responsibility of performing on-demand IT work for the station employment unit and as well as certain other broadcasting functions for the remainder of his work week.

Job Title: Community Service Director Referral Source(s) of Hire: Walk-in
The station employment unit created a Community Service Director position for a walk-in candidate. But for the applicant approaching the station employment unit at that time and the skill set offered by the walk-in candidate, the station employment unit would not have created this position or hired anyone as a Community Service Director during the reporting period. The station employment unit was motivated to create this position because the walk-in candidate brought extensive knowledge of the market and previous sales experience.
